Frances Courteau (Nee Fitzpatrick)

Frances Courteau (Nee Fitzpatrick) 3 avril 1929 – 27 mai 2017

It is with great sorrow that our loving Mom, Mrs. Frances (Fitzpatrick) Courteau, passed away Saturday morning, May 27th at the age of 88. She was happily married to Raymond Courteau for 63 years having met while both working for Canadair in St. Laurent. They have had many opportunities in life living in Montreal, California and Florida. She was predeceased by her parents, her amazing siblings, sisters Jean and Margaret and her brother Jim. She leaves behind her 5 children, Peter (Diana), Robert (Flora), Michael, Thomas (Jennifer) and Margaret-Ann (Danny) as well as her 8 grand children Christopher, Jade, Caitlin, Campbell, Alexander, Nicole, Jennifer and Jillian and 2 great grand children Mason and Dylan Rose.
Although she will be missed, more admired and remembered for being a great wife and mother, and incredibly organized right to the last days where she was handing out assignments to all. She will be sadly missed by each of us and surely by Dad who will carry on without his life partner.
There will be a short visitation from 12pm followed by a service at 1pm at The Rideau funeral home. Following the service the family will be welcoming everyone back for refreshments to share memories at the Bellissimo restaurant 484 Lakeshore Dr, Dorval, H9S2A8 at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
