Obituary of Florence Vsetula
VSETULA: Florence Olive ‘Flo’ (nee Copley) –
A resident of Blenheim and formerly of McKay’s Corners, Florence Olive Vsetula passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, surrounded by her family on Friday October 27, 2017 at the age of 81.
Born in Chatham, Florence was the daughter of the late John Woodrow and Freada (Irwin) Copley.
Beloved wife of 57 years to Tony Vsetula.
Loving mother of Toni Dorssers (Jeff) of Blenheim and Leslie Vsetula of Ottawa.
Proud grandmother Zakeri and Hannah.
Dear sister to Nancy Brisson (Ralph) of Kelowna, BC and Carrie Ellen Dougan (Norm) of Kamloops, BC.
Sister-in-law Dagmar Regentik (late Otto) of Michigan and Helen Zarankin (Wayne) of Burlington.
Also missed by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Florence was an active member of St. Mary’s Church and CWL. She enjoyed spending time with friends at the Active Lifestyle Centre in Chatham and her time in her flower garden.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Parish Prayers will be held Monday at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 95 Marlborough St, Blenheim at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
Donations made in memory of Florence to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
