Obituary of Evelyn Cross
Cross: Evelyn (Elsom), formerly of Cairo, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy at the age of 92. Born in Euphemia Twp., daughter of the late Herbert and Mabel (Brown) Elsom. Beloved wife of the late William Cross. Loving mother of Larry Cross (Donna) of Sarnia, Carlyle Cross (Cindy) of Cairo. Brenda Blackmore (Joel) of Mt. Brydges, Nancy Cross (Don Bryant) of Victoria Harbour, Hope Harms (Brian) of London. Sadly missed by 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one grandson and her sisters Eleanor Thomas, Alice McCracken, Lila McAuslan, and a brother Alfred Elsom. The Cross family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Thursday evening from 7:00- 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1:30 PM (visitation 1 hour prior to the service). Interment Bothwell Cemetery.
