CLAY, Esther Marie – passed away peacefully at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, Nanaimo B.C. on Saturday, December 24, 2016 in her 103rd year.
Esther Clay (nee Risto) of Nanaimo B.C., former long-time resident of Petawawa ON. Lovingly remembered by daughters Marilyn Winquist and Sandra Noonan; 6 grandchildren: Eric Winquist, Dana Kwong, Christine Winquist, Pamela Morrison, Lisa Noonan & Janice Henderson and 10 great-grandchildren: Matthew, Cainan & Lauren Winquist; Isaac, Bethany & Graeme Henderson; Stuart & Derrick Morrison and Ryan & Tyler Johnston. Survived by sister-in-law Loretta Risto and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Howard Clay and daughter Shirley Kwong.
Visitation will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 68 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 1-2:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Spring interment in All Saint’s Anglican Cemetery, Petawawa.
