Dockendorff – Suddenly, at the
Prince County Hospital, Summerside, the death occurred on Sunday,
November 19, 2017, of Erma Dockendorff, of Summerside, aged 88 years.
Born in Foxley River, she was the daughter of the late Major and May
(Milligan) Hardy. Survived by her children Liane (Garth) MacKay, Mary
Lou, Paul and Nancy (Peter) Milan; grandchildren Colin, Logan, Aaron,
Nathan and Christopher; brothers and sisters Violet Wood, Wendell
(Mary) Hardy, Joyce Simmons, Elva Obukuro, Alton (Donna) Hardy, Eldon
(Joyce) Hardy and Merrill (Helen) Hardy; brother-in-law Alden
(Lillian) Dockendorff and by a sister-in-law Elaine Butler.
Predeceased by her husband Freeland “Doc”
Dockendorff and by a brother Lorne Hardy. Resting at the Moase Funeral
Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to the Summerside Bible Chapel,
for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery,
Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial
donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Bible Society would
be appreciated.
