Elsie passed away peacefully at the age of 103 years on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
She was predeceased by her husband Emil; mother Minie; father Ephrom Rennert; stepmother Mary; son Leslie Posehn; stepsister Alma Eutenier; sons-in-law Phillip Nakonechni and Richard Hengst; and granddaughter Wanda Froggatt.
Elsie is survived by son Art Posehn; daughters Irene Nakonechni, Janet Hengst and Thelma Froggatt; daughter-in-law Paulette Posehn; stepsisters Edna, Ruth and Freda; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Elsie was born April 2, 1913. She met Emil Posehn in Kronau, SK and they were married August 12, 1934. They farmed at Lajord until 1979 when they retired to Regina.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Parkside Extendicare, South Wing.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Murray Halvorson officiating. Interment to follow.
