Passed away after a lengthy illness at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, November 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family Ellen Hogan, aged 54 years. Predeceased by her parents Alex and Violet Byrne and brother Jim. Left with fond and loving memories, her devoted husband and best friend Kenneth, son Brian (Jessica Pumphrey), daughter Krista (Darren Pike) and her precious grandchildren Madison and Emma Pike. Ellen also leaves her brothers: Bob (Paulette), John (Pauline), Michael (Debbie), Alex (Mariette), Ron, Tony (Fran) and Chris (Eileen); sisters: Joan (Kevin Joy), Mary (Mike Wilkins), Gerry (Jim Guinchard), Carole (Doug Laing), Marie (Sonny Hawkins), Sharon (Carl Smith) and Donna (Wayne Hussey); parents-in-law Jack and Elizabeth Hogan, brothers-in-law Keith (Susan) and Michael, sister-in-law Anne Marie (Jimmy Reddy). Ellen also had numerous nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Stephanelli, the staff of 4 South B at the HSC and Leah Mayo. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Wednesday from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church, Torbay. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bauline Line. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen’s memory may be made to Home Again Furniture Bank (homeagainfb.ca/)
