Elizabeth Tooktoshina
1923-2017
It is with great sadness that
the family of the late Elizabeth Tooktoshina announce her passing on
March 6, 2017 at Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 93
years. She will be sadly missed by her children, Joyce Allen
(Oswald), Susan Rideout (Winston), Myrtle Banfield, Claris Barron
(David), Jim (Madonna), Ralph (Priscilla), Steve (Dalphine), John
(Amelia), Melvin, Donald (Shirley), George (Maria) and Sam
(Christine); grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a large
circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends. She was predeceased by her
husband, Steven, son Edgar Lucy, parents John Thomas and Mary Ann
Lucy, sisters, Susan Powell, Julia Castle; brothers Sam Lucy and David
Voisey. Visitation is planned for
Wednesday, March 8, from 7-9 pm, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 and Friday
2-4. Funeral will be
Saturday, March 11, 2017 with Rev. Beatrice Hope
officiating. As expressions of sympathy,
donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer
Society. Flowers are
welcomed. Special thanks to the doctors
and nursing staff at the Labrador Health
Centre.
