Obituary of Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Taylor
Passed peacefully away at the Long Term Care Facility, Carbonear on Thursday, December 28, 2017, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Taylor of Carbonear, age 76 years. Predeceased by husband: Herman; parents: Charles and Dorothy Burden. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Debbie (John) Kelloway, Victoria; two sons: Ken (Debbie) and Bill (Elizabeth), both of Victoria; five grandchildren: Crystal, Michael, Meaghan, Danielle, and Arianna; two brothers: William (Lillian) Burden, Goose Bay and Fred (Violet) Burden, St. John’s; one sister: Clara (Harold) Antle, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to be held at a later date in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation NL Regional Office, P.O. Box 39093, St. John’s, NL, A1E 5Y7.
