PURCELL Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on December 19, 2017 in the presence of her loving family Elizabeth (Betty) Purcell of St. John’s, formerly of Kilbride, aged 71.
Leaving to mourn her sad loss are her dear friend of many years, Harry Glynn; her sister Joan Mannering; her brother Bryan Purcell (Kathy); her nieces: Allison Purcell (Sean); Christy Mannering; Erin Mannering Hanlon (Craig), and Betty’s precious grand-niece Gracie Hanlon. Also a wide circle of relatives and friends in Newfoundland, Connecticut, and California. Cremation has taken place. Waking at Caul’s Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, December 22 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 9:30 am from Corpus Christi Church on Waterford Bridge Road. Inurnment to follow at Kilbride Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations in her memory may be made to The Gathering Place (172 Military Road, P.O. Box 1761, St. John’s, NL, A1C 5P5).
