It is with sadness the family announces
the sudden passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Noble, which
occurred on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Foyer Notre Dame de
Lourdes, Bathurst at the age of
71.
Born in Port de Grave, Newfoundland, she
was the daughter of the late Clayton and Lillian (Upshall)
Kennedy.
She was an active member of the
EvangelPentecostalChurch. Betty had a passion for special
needs individuals and was instrumental in the establishment of the
Laurier Residence, owned by the Nepsiguit Residential Services
Inc. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing the piano and
crocheting. Most importantly her joy came from caring for
her family.
She is survived by her husband David of
50 years.
Her two children: Chris
(Shandy) and Joanne both of Bathurst. Her grandson,
Cole.
Two sisters: Nellie and
Carol-Ann. Four
brothers: Charles, Jake, George and Gary. Several
nices and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Nancy
and a brother John.
There will be no visitation at the
funeral home. Funeral service
will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at
EvangelPentecostalChurch, Basin St, Bathurst. Donations in
memory of Betty may be made to the Canadian Mental Health
Association. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton
Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
