It is with great sadness that the family of the late
of St. Bernard’s
announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in
Burin on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017, at the age of
88. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are daughters, Dorothy Hynes of St.
Bernard’s, Georgina (John) Myles of St. Bernard’s,
Solange (Jack) Power of St. Bernard’s, Elizabeth (Boyd)
Clarke of Medicine Hat, AB, and Veronica (Wayne) Cox of Medicine Hat,
AB; sisters, Lucy Hillier of Grand Bank, and Caroline Hillier of Grand
Bank; brother-in-law, John Phillips; 11 grandchildren; 9
great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. She was predeceased by her
husband, Kyran Hynes; sisters, Dorothy Phillips, and Mary Hillier;
brothers, George Herridge, Norman Herridge, and Philip Herridge; and
son-in-law, William “Jack” Hynes.
The Hynes Family will be accepting visitors at Sacred
Heart Roman Catholic Church in St. Bernard’s on Sunday,
December 24th, time to be announced; from
where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a date and time
to be announced. Interment will follow at
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in St.
In Elizabeth’s
memory donations may be made to Daffodil Place or flowers gratefully
