Eleanor Dickinson 24 avril 1920 – 23 décembre 2016

Eleanor was born on April 24, 1920 in Snowflake, Manitoba, she then moved to Montreal where she met and married her husband John Dickinson who predeceased her in December 2000. With their marriage came 5 children; Ron (Celine) Montreal/Florida, Doug (Judy) Halifax, Ken (Eddie) Cole Harbour, Heather Cole Harbour, Sue (Steve) Chezzetcook; Grandchildren, Natalie, Tom, Candis (Wayne), Matthew (Erin), Sean (Amanda), Jamie (Shilo), Dayna (Phen), Sean (Gabby)), Lynn (Donald), Tanya and Michelle; great grandchildren Jade, Greg, Alyssa, Sidney, Darren, Dylan, Sophia, Liam, Nial, Bella, Jack, Sam, Nicholas, Zac Noah, Owen, Sara Jade, William and Naomie; two nieces Barbara Michaels and Wendy Lemeiux; sister in law, Alice Dickinson. She was predeceased by grandson, Steven and sister, Willa; brothers in law, Ralph, George and Andrew Eleanor enjoyed hobbies, such as card making, scrapbooking and an avid reading. She attended all the events in the building where she lived (pot luck dinners, morning coffee breaks), where she became friends with many of the tenants. Eleanor never missed a family gathering and enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was the light of her life. Eleanor was known as the Matriarch of the family and she will be missed by all her family and friends.
