It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of beloved mother and grandmother Eileen Young. Eileen passed away on December 23, 2017 at Northside General Hospital with her family at her side. The daughter of Ernest and Eleanor Briggs of Sydney Mines, Eileen is survived by William, her husband of 63 years, daughters Debbie Dowling, Leah Ann (John) LeBlanc; grandchildren: Nichole (Brian) Halliday, Jennifer (Brechan) MacAuley, Jenna and Evan LeBlanc; great grandchildren Avory, Jocelyn, Cassidy, Emmett and Lexi, daughter-in-law Dorothy Dolhanty, sister Queenie Luker as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.
