Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017. Edward Patrick Murphy, age 70 years. Predeceased by his parents Helen and Cyril; son Edward and first wife Genevieve, brothers Jim and Don; sister Vick, sister in law Betty. Leaving to mourn his wife Yvonne (nee Woolridge); his loving children Denise (Mike), Cyril (Sarah) and step children Kelly, Krista (Mike) and Nancy (Joe), his cherished grandchildren Ian, Neena, Morgan, MacKenzie, Nicholas, Genevieve, Benjamin, Allison and Luke, great grandchildren, Jackson and Abigail, siblings, Gerry (Mary), Cyril (Gert) Mary (Dave deceased) and Kathleen (Harry), brother in law Jim Power, sisters in law Cathy Murphy and Joan Murphy, Ruby (Ferg), Madonna (Dave) and Patricia (Bruce), brothers in law Mike Woolridge (Betty), Bill Woolridge (Lyn), Bob Woolridge (Mona) and a large circle of nephews and nieces. He will be missed by his good buddy Ron Baker. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, November 19th, 2017 at 2 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow. Flowers accepted, or donations can be made to the NL Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
