Peacefully at Nipissing Manor Nursing Care Center on Tuesday December 27, 2016 at 97 years of age. Cherished wife of the late Walter Fisher. Loving mother of Jean Gutjahr (Dean) of North Bay and the late Margot O’Brien (Richard, surviving) also of North Bay. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Shelley, Terry, Troy and Glenn, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Edna was known as a kind and loving person. She was an active member of Emmanuel United Church and Calvin Presbyterian Church. A celebration of Edna’s life will be held at the Gutjahr home, 12 Charlton Cres., North Bay, on Monday January 2, 2017 from 1-3 pm. A family graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be appreciated.
