Edgar Johnson
1941-2017
SAINT-IGNACE, NB – Edgar Johnson, 75,
passed away peacefully at his residence, La Villa Maria,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Friday, April 28th,
2017. Born in St-Ignace, he was the son of the late Narcisse and
Yvonnice (Allain) Johnson. Before his retirement, Edgar worked as a
laborer and then as a woodsman.
Edgar
will be sadly missed by his seven sisters, Sr. Yvette Johnson, CND of
Montreal, QC, Jeannette Johnson of St-Ignace, Jacqueline Thebeau
(Alphée) of St-Ignace, Yvonne Pellerin (Tony) of
Bowmanville, ON, Roberte Guimon (Paul Durelle) of St-Louis, Jacinthe
Johnson of St-Ignace and Lyne Johnson (Donald) of St-Ignace; five
brothers, Laurie, Donald (Camilla), Léo-Paul, Camille
(Marielle) and Yvon, all of St-Ignace; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
Besides
his parents, Edgar is predeceased by his sister, Marie Poirier; and
two brothers, Claude and Bernard.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Saturday from 9:00 am until the departure for
the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May
6th, 2017 at 11:00 am, St. Ignace de Loyola
Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace. Donations to the
Alzheimer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice
would be appreciated by the family.
