Passed peacefully away at Burin Peninsula Health Care
Centre, Burin, NL on Friday, Dec. 08, 2017, EARL SHERMAN GRANDY of
Garnish, NL, in his 81st year. Leaving to mourn his
loving wife Almeda, sons Sherman (Caroline), Kitchener, ON, Jason
(Cleo), Thompson, MB, and daughter Mary Lynn Newport (Tony), Ajax, ON;
8 grandchildren; brother Curtis, Halifax, NS, sister Betty Abbott (Ray),
Marystown, NL; and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Earl is predeceased by his
parents Fred and Alice Grandy, brothers Howard, Ronald, Douglas, and
Willis, sisters Wavy, Dinah, and
Marvis.
Resting at the Salvation Army
Citadel, Garnish on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, from 3 – 5 pm and
7 – 9 pm, and Monday, Dec. 11, 2017 from 2 – 5 pm
and 7 – 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Salvation
Army Citadel, Garnish, on and date and time to be announced with
interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Garnish.
No flowers at the request of the family. Donations in
Earl’s memory may be made to the Chemo Unit at the Burin
Peninsula Health Care Centre or the Salvation Army, Garnish.
