Sellick, Elsie Mae – 95, Pugwash / Wallace, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Midgell, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ella (MacEachern) Robbins. For several years Mae worked as the manager of the Dutch Mill Restaurant and Cabins in Wallace. She was later employed with Canada Post and spent 23 years as the Post Mistress in Wallace. Mae was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Mel (Dorothy) Sellick, Pugwash; daughter, Barbara (Daniel) Landry, Dieppe; grandchildren, Ashley (Lorna) Sellick, Vancouver, B.C.; Allison (Christine) Sellick, Wallace River; Aaron (Beth) Sellick, Niagara on the Lake, Ont.; Monique (Scott) Savoie-Reckner, Washington, DC; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Marina, Samantha, Tristan, Kyle (Krista), Rae (Dustin); four great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild; nieces, Marj Robbins, Sherbrooke, P.Q., Joy (Don) Crozier, Charlottetown, P.E.I., Linda Daniels, Windsor; nephew, Spurgeon (Gerry) Robbins, Summerside, P.E.I. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, John Sellick; brother and sister-in-law, Alvin (Margaret) Robbins and three infant siblings; son-in-law, Norman Savoie. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Friday, December 8, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. both in Mundle’s Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash (902) 243-2506. Spurgeon Robbins officiating.
