Obituary of Dorothy Rodgers
Passed away peacefully on December 22, 2017 surrounded by her family at Northland Pointe in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Harold – 1994. Loving mother of Danny (Christine), Sharon Huffman (Vic), Ginger Barrick (Bryan), Debra Rodgers-Tremp and April Rivando (Peter). Dear nana of Leslee Schoenrath (Larry), Dan Rodgers (Jen), Tracy Alfieri (Dave), Rene Dennis, Karrie Huffman-Laramee (Mike), Tom Harriettha (Kyla), Krista Nadeau (Al), Bradley Jackson, Nelson Tremp, Erika Tremp, Jeremy Rivando, Melissa Rivando (Paul), Aaron Rivando and Alysia Rivando. Also surivived by her brother Keith Minor (Pauline) and 16 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Norval & Eldon Minor and by her sister Izle Ellis.
Arrangments entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. Funeral Service will be held at the Port Colborne Brethren In Christ Church on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 12 p.m. with Pastor Brian Lofthouse officiating. The family will recive friends one hour prior at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Port Colborne Brethren In Christ Church or to the Alheimer’s Society.
