Obituary of Doris Barless
It is with great sorrow in our hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Evelyn Barless. She passed peacefully in the evening hours of September 10th 2017 at Mississauga Trillium Hospital, surrounded by her immediate family at the age of 82 years old. She blessed the world on July 3rd 1935, and was the loving wife to her late husband Raymond George Barless for 52 years. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Clifford), James (Debra) and she is loved and missed by her grandchildren Sarah, Melissa, Jessica (Scot), Paul (Morena) and great grandchildren Jayden and Stephanie. She will be remembered and cherished by her very large extended family.
The passing of our mother/grandmother/great grandmother was a very sudden and an unexpected event that has shocked us all. Her radiant beauty, generous soul and echoing laughter will be missed by everyone that knew her. She will forever be remembered for her sardonic sense of humour and the ability to light up even the darkest of rooms just by gracing us with her presence. She was the rock that kept everyone grounded and was wise beyond her years. Her teachings will remain in our hearts as we continue on life’s journey. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Our family would like to thank Halton Paramedics and all of the wonderful staff at both Georgetown Hospital and Mississauga Trillium Hospital that participated in the wonderful care she received.
