MAU, Doris Louise – it is with saddened hearts that the family of Doris announce her passing at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in her 92nd year.
Doris Mau (nee Priebe) of Pembroke, wife of the late Alfred William “Bill” Mau. Mother of John Mau (Margaret), Pembroke; Katherine Gervais (Renaud), La Passe; Linda Mau (Warren Moore), Ottawa and predeceased by infant son Theodore. Granny to Julie Kreh (Benjamin), Michigan & Jeffrey Mau, Pembroke; and Troy Gervais (Cheryl), Pembroke & Carey-Ann Sym (Peter), Australia. Great-grandma to Georgia. Predeceased by siblings Martha Nienkirchen, Harold Priebe, Herman Priebe, Annie Hamilton, Bert Kaepsel and George Kaepsel. Doris is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
