On February 8, 2017 Doris Young passed away at the age of 84 years.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Gladys Mahowich (Wally) of Willingdon; sons, Wayne Henschel of Wetaskiwin and Ron (Iris) Henschel of Camrose; grandson, Michael Zuk of Edmonton; sister, Eileen Henschel; sisters-in-law, Helen Buksa and Lil Henschel of Wetaskiwin, and Sylvia Wichman of Bittern Lake; God-daughters, Marilyn Henschel of Ottawa and Theresa Hamilton of Calgary; numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Doris was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Henschel; second husband, Claire Young; parents, Emil and Lydia Wichman; sisters, Ruth Harke and Alma Flanagan and brother, Norman Wichman.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
A celebration of Doris’ life will be announced at a later date.
