Obituary for Doreen Potter (Galbraith)
Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Sunday, October 29, 2017. Doreen (Galbraith) Potter, at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Walter Truman Potter. Survived by her children, Robert (Linda) Potter and Deborah (Bill) Marshall. Also survived by her granddaughter, Amanda (Tim) Marshall-Kain; two step-granddaughters, April (John) Scott-Clarke and Sharon (Chris) Hurley; step-great grandchildren, Alexis and Benjamin Hurley, Rilyn and Jordan Clarke; and her nephew, Carl (Anita) Galbraith. She was predeceased by her siblings, Marion, Verna, Harlow, Howard, Lawrence, William, and Ross.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Wednesday, November 1st from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A ceremony celebrating Doreen’s life will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, November 2nd in the Chapel followed by interment. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation; Palliative Care or Canadian Diabetes Association will be gratefully acknowledged.
