Doreen Marjorie Lanti, 72, of Kelowna passed away peacefully December 22, 2017 in Kelowna, BC with her loving family at her side.
Doreen was born April 4, 1945 in Notikewan, Alberta and raised on the homestead farm.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and very dear friend.

She is survived by her loving family: son Brent (Connie) Lanti of Vegreville, AB; daughter Lorna RiChard (Barry Iwaschuk – fiance) of Red Deer, AB; daughter Cindy (Gavin) Moss of Peachland, BC; grandchildren Colin & Ashley RiChard and Tiffany, Michael & Sabrina Lanti; sister-in-law Betty Lepchuk of Manning, AB; sister Irene Dillman of Peachland, BC; brother Kenny (Joan) Lepchuk of Peace River, AB; sister Betsy (Alan) Taylor of Olds, AB; brother Ron (Denise) Lepchuk of Mexico; and numerous extended family; and the dogs & cats – Tigger, Diesel, Roxy & Antonio.
Doreen’s family would like to extend special “Thanks” to all the nursing staff, doctors and extended health care workers for their continued care and compassion they showed our mother while at Kelowna General Hospital. We would also like to thank Doreen’s friends and the staff at Fernbrae Manor.
A celebration of Doreen’s life will be held at the end of April, 2018 in Peachland, BC. Confirmation and further information to follow.
