The sudden passing of Donna Gail Braithwaite occurred on December 8, 2017 in Battleford Sask. at the age of 63 years. Donna is survived by her loving husband George Braithwaite, Daughters Jennifer Hadley (Douglas Rudd), Jessica Stephens (Christopher, Abigail and Charles) and Deanna Braithwaite (Charlotte Jansen) and her son James Braithwaite. her mother Eileen Hadley, her brothers Lorne Hadley (Karen and family), Kevin Hadley (Andrea Frolek and family), her sister Rona Hadley-Cole (Terry and family), her uncles Richard Dickson (Dani and family) and Glen Dickson ( Elaine and family), Mother in law Bertha Braithwaite, sister in law Marilyn Braithwaite, brother in law Gary Braithwaite (Beverly Leepart and family and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her grandmother Hazel Dickson, her father Percy Hadley, her son Jonathon Hadley.
Born in Saskatoon, SK on September 23rd 1954 to Percy and Eileen Hadley. Raised on the family farm in Landis, SK. Donna moved to Saskatoon in 1972 to go to University and then moved to La Ronge in 1974. She moved back to Saskatoon in 1976 and begun working for United Pharmacy. Donna was a loving mother to Jennifer Lea, Jonathon Abraham, Jessica Anne, James Douglas and Deanna Josephine Eileen. In 1990, Donna married her loving husband George and they lived happily in Saskatoon and raised their family.
Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and quilting. She was a very proud grandma to Abigail and Charlie and they came her very busy everyday as she was also a nanny to them. She always said how lucky she was to be able to see her grand kids grow up and they loved her so much. Donna was always full of joy when spending time with family. Donna’s kindness and big heart were evident in everything she did and in her day to day life. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.
