Obituary of Donald Stewart
Donald Carman Stewart of Braemar and formerly of Teeswater, slept away peacefully on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017, at the age of 84.
Born on February 9th, 1933 to the late Robert and Robena (née Martin) Stewart.
Beloved husband of Gladys (née Blake) Stewart for 64 years.
Already missed by his 4 children Joan (Raymond) Wright of Wingham, Jim (Deb) Stewart of Owen Sound, Ron (Jane) Stewart of Strathroy and Patti (Sandy) Staples of Kingston.
Dear Grandpa to 10; Kevin, Brad, Janine, Amy, Mike, Bryan, Naomi, Andrew, David and Katie and Great-Grandpa (aka The Old Guy) to 11.
Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Maxine (Bill) Seers and Joyce (Jim) Oke all of Goderich
Also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by his sisters Velma (Lorne) McAllister and Eileen (Dave) Moffat, 1 nephew and 2 nieces.
Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Friday, November 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service to celebrate Donald’s life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Douglas Brown officiating.
Interment Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
