Donald McLean passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Donald was a generous and humorous man with a passion for dogs, cars, his BMW motorbike and later, his Barth motorhomes. Although centered in Calgary, he also loved his home in Kaslo, BC where he took daily trips to the lake with his dogs and to have coffee with his friends. He was a geologist who enjoyed hiking and camping in the Rocky Mountains as well as traveling throughout North America and Europe. Donald is survived by son and daughter-in-law Cameron and Bev and their son Matthew; son and son-in-law Malcolm and Doug; brother and sister-in-law Al and Wilma; and close friends Peter and Fiona Chomitz in Kaslo. Donald was predeceased by his wife Rose Marie. No services will be held. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Donald’s family through www.evanjstrong.com.
