It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dionisios (Dennis) Athanasatos on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the age of 90 years. Dennis will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Elpis, daughters Mamie (Terry) Reynolds, Litsa (Sheldon) Jacobs and cherished grandson Matthew Dennis Jacobs. Dennis is predeceased by his father Harilaos, mother Aglaia, brother Gerasimos, sisters Vikedia and Agathe and brother Peter.
For Dennis, family and friends were his greatest treasure. Always a consummate host and entertainer, he took great pride in everything he did.
Prayers to be held on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 6:00 pm.
Funeral service to be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 9:00 am.
Both services will be held at St. Georges Greek Orthodox Church at 10831 – 124 St. Edmonton, AB.
Interment to follow at Westlawn Cemetery, 16310 Stony Plain Rd. Edmonton, AB.
