Obituary for Dianna Halcrow (Saunders)
Halcrow, Dianna Lynne (nee Saunders)
We sadly announce Dianna’s unexpected death on Friday, December 22, 2017. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon and her father Harry Hughes Saunders. Dianna is survived by her mother Irma “Pat”, brother Robert “Bob” and sisters Mari-Anne (Dave), Heather Zerafa (Joe), and Patti Sargent, as well as, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by dear friends Jeff, Donna and Darla Brocklebank. Dianna adopted a keen affinity for Grimsby, choosing to continue to live to here on her own following the death of her husband in 2007. She took an active part in the life of the community through her membership in various organizations. She was a keen attendee of Centennial Park Baptist Church. Dianna very much appreciated the support she received from the congregation. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Centennial Park Baptist Church, 11 Kennedy Road, Grimsby, on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dianna’s memory to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family. (Arrangements entrusted to Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby 905-945-2755).
