Obituary of Desmond Ellis
Ellis, Desmond George- Suddenly, 7 months after he suffered a stroke, Desi passed away on Tuesday November 14th, 2017 at the Georgetown Hospital. Beloved husband of May (nee Young) for 64 years. Loving father of Jean (Bob Dugan) and Peter Ellis. Dear grandad of Breanne (Gerard Engson) and Chad. Proud great-grandad of Rhys, Fiona and Éilis. Desi will be fondly remembered by his sisters in England, Peggy and Pauline. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown on Monday November 20th from 7-9 pm. Funeral liturgy will be held in the chapel on Tuesday November 21st, at 12:00 noon. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. In memory, contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Parkinson Canada would be appreciated by the family.
