1938-2017
The passing of David Harold Collings (Dave) of Sypher Cove, N.B.,
loving husband of Pam Parsons Collings occurred at York Care Centre
Thursday, July 20, 2017. Dave died peacefully surrounded by
family.
Born in St. Stephen on Sept 08, 1938. He was the son of the late
Harold (Slim) and Elzaid Collings.Dave graduated from Minto Memorial
High School, attended U.N.B. He worked for NB Power for 33 years,
retiring 20 years ago. Dave loved his animals, enjoyed curling, golf,
hunting and Fishing. He will best be remembered for his contagious
smile and belly laughs.
Besides Pam, he leaves behind his 3 children Leann Collings
Fredericton, Michelle Martin (Gerard) Grande Prairie and Heath
Collings (Pam) Grande Prairie and mother of his children Denise
Collings.Pams children Tamara Graham, Dawson Creek BC and Noah Parsons
(Kim) Saskatoon, grandchildren Christopher, Diedre, Nicole, Kaitlynd,
Courtney, Ben, Zachary, Jacob, Sarah and Chloe as well as 9 great
grandchildren.
There will be no visitation by request. Funeral Service will be held
2:00PM Thursday, July 27, 2017 from Saint Michael and All Angels
Anglican Church, Minto. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers,the family would appreciate donations to the NB
Alzheimer Society, Oromocto SPCA or the Minto Food Bank.
The family would like to thank the staff of Dixon Lodge York Care as
well as Chaplain Pastor Norm for the love and care given to Dave.
