Peacefully, on December 29, 2017, at Carleton Place Hospital, at the age of 71 with Elaine (Lefebvre), his love of 21 years at his side.
Survived by his two sons Chris (Sarah) and Jeff (Katie), step-children Bob (Alice) and Angèle (Luke). Dear grandpa of seven grandchildren, Josée, Owen, Calvin, Brandon, Jack, Emery and Mckenna. Loving brother of Doug (Janis). Predeceased by his brother George (Cathy-surviving), sister Helen and his parents Helen nee Bradley and Gordon Patterson. Loving uncle of Glen, Rhonda, David, Tina, Bob, Sherry, Jennifer, Amanda and Jason. Will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until the memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
