NEW GLASGOW – David Frederick Campbell, 80, High Crest Place, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, Palliative Care Unit.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late James and Gracia (Milligan) Campbell. He served his country in the Canadian Air Force for 25 years. After his retirement, he was a school bus driver. He was a kind gentle man.
Surviving are daughter, Cindy (Rusty) Campbell, MacLellan’s Brook; son, Wayne Campbell, Sylvester; grandchildren, Morgan, and Darby; sister, Cindy (Howard) Robin, Greenvale, South Carolina; Joel (Dianne), Stellarton; Ross (Carol Ann), Ontario; Paul (Delia) Halifax; Jimmy (Claudia), Halifax.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carol.
In keeping with David’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately.
Donations may be made in his memory to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are entrusted to P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home.
