Peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2017, Cynthia passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 83 years. Cynthia is survived by her sons James and Tim (Cheryl) along with numerous cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, and her sisters Irene Wlasichuk and Nellie Kornyk.
Cynthia was born in Rossburn, Manitoba. She was raised, and proudly continued to reside, in Winnipeg’s North End. Cynthia spent her working years in the Financial Industry, employed at the TD Bank of Canada where she made lasting friendships and many fond memories.
She was a devoted book enthusiast along with an avid patron of the theatre, live concerts and the cinema. Cynthia loved travelling and enjoyed many adventures across North America and Europe. She had a fabulous sense of humour and always had a smile for everyone. One of her joys was spending time with her infant and toddler relatives.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St Paul, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
