a resident of M’Chigeeng First Nation passed away surrounded by family at
Health Sciences North, Sudbury, ON
at the age of 57 years.
Conrad traveled across Turtle Island, working in various mines. Like his brothers who were also miners, he started his career in mining at Denison Mines, from there he specialized in alimak and raise mining.
He was born at Mindemoya, son of Elizabeth (nee Osawamick) and Norman Debassige (predeceased).
Predeceased by dear friend of 9 years,
Ann Marie Bain.
Dear father of Richard Debassige-Frappier,
Tiffany Bailey,
Nica Dube-Spencer.
Loving brother of Dorothy (husband Edward),
Adam (wife Lorraine),
Calvin (wife Cathy),
Boniface (predeceased)
Donald Sr. (predeceased) (wife Winnie),
Norman Jr. (predeceased),
Wayne (wife Heather),
and Arnold (wife Lorraine).
Loving godfather of Peggy Wassegijig, Archie Panamick and Rachel Panamick.
Conrad enjoyed his role as uncle to his many nieces and nephews, who were his pride and joy. There are many memories of his patience, generosity and kindness.

Funeral Mass 11am Friday, November 3rd, 2017
Burial at M’Chigeeng First Nation Cemetery
