Death Notice
SCHLUETER, Cornelia (Connie) Mary Judy (Nee Froklage) – On Thursday, October 19, 2017, after a courageous four-year battle against breast cancer, Connie passed into the keeping of her creator at the age of 62. Born on January 24, 1955, Connie was a dedicated single mother to her beloved son, Stephen, who will always remember and be thankful for her love and for the sacrifices she made on his behalf. Loving and beloved daughter of Henry, who pre-deceased her, and Lydia Froklage of Cambridge, who will greatly miss her selfless support. Cherished sister of Harry (Patricia), Frank, Christopher and Monica (Matt), Connie will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews Ray, Phil, Teri, Markus, Adam, Ben and Sarah. Connie studied landscape design and loved to share her creative energy with others through her work with the Diocese of London and Chisholm Housing Co-op and through her many pastimes. Visitation on Thursday evening, 7-9, at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond, London. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 511 Cheapside Street at Maitland, London on Friday, October 27 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Michael’s Parish (London) would be welcome.
