Colin Gorb Brent Taylor - 1962-2017

Colin “Gorb” Brent Taylor
1962-2017
Colin “Gorb” Brent Taylor, 54, of Edgett’s
Landing passed away unexpectedly on January 15th, 2017 at his
home.
Colin was born in Moncton on November 5, 1962 the son of
the late George “Ted” Taylor and Jean (Rossiter) Taylor of
Edgett’s Landing.
Colin was a true Albert County boy. He worked
several places over the years in Ontario, Alberta, the Potash Mine in
Sussex, for DOT in Hillsborough and last worked with his mom at the
Driftwood Restaurant in Alma. He enjoyed being outdoors and hunting
and fishing. He had a special place in his heart for his
dogs, Chico and Macho. He enjoyed all the times spent with
his family and friends. Colin had a lot of the same friends
that he grew up with over the years and they all had a special
bond. He loved to have a good laugh, tease and carry on. One
thing about Colin, you didn’t have to ask what he thought because he
was clear in making his thoughts known. You also did not
dare Colin to do anything because he would do it. Let us
cherish the good times and remember all the fun and his big grin and
twinkle in his eye when he was up to something. He will live on in our
hearts forever.
He will be deeply missed by his mom, Jean; brothers, Tom
Taylor of Grand Lake, Fred Taylor (Lisa) of Grand Lake, Tim
Taylor of Burnaby, BC and Jeff Taylor (Linda) of Airdrie,
AB. He will also be missed by several aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces, nephews and many close buddies.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with
visitation on Thursday evening from 6-9pm. The funeral
service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Friday,
January 20th, 2017 at 2:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves
officiating. Interment will be held at a later
date. Following the service the family will be meeting with
relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and for
refreshments at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Colin’s love of animals
donations to the SPCA would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral
Home, 4130 Route 114, Hopewell Cape, NB, E4H-3K2
