Hickling, Clifford Kemp Doctor of Dental Surgery
Peacefully in hospital on April 22 2017 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Wilson) and dear father of John and Louise (Peter) Klaassen. He will be missed by his grandchildren Lisa (Peter) Winters and Andrew (Victoria) Klaassen and his great grandchildren Emma, Taylor, Arie and Theo. Predeceased by sister Joyce and brother Jim. Clifford was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1926 and spent his formative years in Toronto. After his WWII service, Cliff graduated in 1952 from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. He with his young family moved to Ottawa in the late 1960s where he retired as Chief Dentistry, Department of Veterans Affairs to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a farmer. Our sincerest thanks to all who cared for Clifford, with kindness and respect, in his later years. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday April 27, 2017 from 10-11 am at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 8140 Victoria St. in Metcalfe, Ontario where a Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
