Clements “Newton” Fanjoy
1928-2017
The passing of Clements “Newton” Fanjoy occurred on
May 10, 2017 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Formerly of
Minto, NB, he was a long time resident of the Orchard View Nursing
Home, Gagetown, NB. Born on January 8, 1928 in Saint John, NB to the
late William and Mildred (Brooks) Fanjoy, he was the husband
of the late Margaret Fanjoy nee Vanderkracht.
Newton is survived by four children, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and siblings, Esther and Margo.
Besides his parents, and wife, Newton was also predeceased by
two children and siblings, Ed, Audrey, Shirley, Bill and
Bob.
Newton was a long serving school bus driver in Minto, NB and
always loved having long conversations with his sister, Esther Reid of
Ontario.
A private graveside service will be held at the St. Michael
and All Angels Anglican Church Cemetery, Minto, NB, at a later
date.
For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the
Pediatric Oncology Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional
Hospital.
