COURTNEY, Clara May
Entered into rest at the QHC Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, November 16, 2017 in her 84th year. Daughter of the late George and Mary Jane Smith. Beloved wife of the late William Robert Courtney (2010). Loving mother of Carol Foley (Walt), Linda Brockley (Jim), Janice Embury (late Jack), Judy Brown (Chris), and Betty Brant (Jason). Predeceased by son Douglas Courtney (Jennifer). Loved by her grandchildren Erica, Megan, Alexander, Jennifer, John, Jeff, Jackie, Jamie, Larry, and predeceased by grandson Clinton. Also loved by her 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Ralph Smith (Freda) and Les Smith (late June). At Clara’s request cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at Actinolite Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation and/or to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Online condolences www.burkefuneral.ca
