1939-2017
At the Falls Villa (Grand Falls Manor), November 28, 2017,
Mr. Clairmont Clavette of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 78
years. He was the widower of Marie-Jeanne Martin who died in
2010. Born at Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska in 1939, he was a son
of the late Albert and Marie-Emelie (Martin) Clavette.
Mr. Clavette was an honorary life member of the Knights of
Columbus, Saint-Leonard Council 2743.
He is survived by his children, Raymond (Kim) of Bristol,
Connecticut, Daniel (Lynn) and Gilbert “Ton” (Jason) of
Ottawa, Gisele Clavette (Ronny Michaud) of Grand Falls and Rachelle
Leclerc (Sam) of New Denmark, ten grandchildren, eight great
grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Roger “Bi”, Fernande,
Fernand “Donald”, Rheal, Georgette and Lionel
“Pit”, as well as sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces
and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother,
Eddy.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd.,
Grand Falls with visiting hours on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, December 2nd at 11
a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with
interment in the Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the
family.
