MARTIN, C. Kaye
On a sunny Wednesday afternoon December 27, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospital, with his family present at his side in the final moments of his sole passing. Kaye in his 86th year is the beloved husband of Sara and loving father to Sandra (John), Jane (Dave), John (Cheryl), Faye (Michael) and David. Cherished grandpa to Linda, Robert, Andrew, Erica, Colleen, Sadie, Molly, Coral, Austin (Mei), Cody, Dylan and Kay Lee. A great-grandpa to Amber. Also remembered by Catherine. Son of the late Lloyd and Etta Martin. Brother of the late T. Leon Martin (Elizabeth) and family. Son-in-law to the late John and Martha Harvey. Brother-in-law to the late Samuel Harvey. His loving family and friends will miss Kaye. His passion was to help others in time of need through manual labour, providing tools or extensive education. A retiree of 47 years of service from Dover Elevators (now Thysseen Krupp Elevator). His voice was actively heard at the Canadian Elevator Industry Union. Visitation will take place at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
