It is with great sadness that the families of the late Charles Hubert Lilly announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 21st, 2017, at the age of 91 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons; Wayne (Daphne), and Paul (Rosalind), his grandchildren; Lindsey (Matthew), Amanda (Chris), Adam (Laura), Andrew, Kara, Jordan, Lindsay, Cheryl (Ken), and Chloe (Cody), his great grandchildren; Talon, Kailey, Braedyn, Ryder, Remmington, Kailey, Addie, Rylan, Caleb, and James, his special companion; Beulah, his siblings; John (Brenda), Frances, Violet (Bill), Gwendolyn (David), Melvin (Florence), and Reginald (Barbara), daughter-in-law; Donna, and brother-in-law; Jack. Charles was predeceased by his wife; Gwendolyn nee Hefford, his son; Brian, grandson; Stephen, sister; Gertrude, and brother-in-law; Ambrose. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 26th, 2017 at 11:00 am, from the St. Michael’s & All Angels Anglican Church in Deer Lake, with Canon Paulette Budgen officiating with the burial to follow at the Family plot of Mt. Patricia Cemetery in Corner Brook, NL, with a reception to follow at 2:30 pm at St. Michaels & All Angels Church in Deer Lake, NL.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Charles memory to The Canadian Cancer Society –NL, Division 70 Ropewalk Lane, P.0.Box 8921, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3R9 for The Daffodils Place in St. John’s, NL, would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
