Carla Janet (Godsoe) Butland
Carla J. Butland, 65, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at
The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 with her loving children
at her side. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Eliza
(McKillop) and Carl Godsoe.
Carla was a Registered Nurse from 1973 – 1991 and
from 1991 – 2016 she was the Co-owner and Operator of
Woodhaven Enterprises Ltd., manufacturers of Danny’s
Pizza.
Her hobbies included quilting, knitting and crocheting. She
enjoyed a semi-retired lifestyle in recent years and loved spending
time with her grandchildren.
Carla will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kelly Graham
(Greg) of Riverview; sons, Wade Butland (Tara) and Warren Butland
(Cindy) both of Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Dean, Elizabeth,
Victoria, Alexandria, Mary, Anne and Wyatt; sister, Pam MacQuarrie
(Les); brothers, Brian Godsoe (Gwen) and Steven Godsoe (Heidi);
mother-in-law, Ferne (Hoar) McCurdy; brother-in-law, Denis Poirier
(Monique); many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, Dale Butland (Feb. 2015) and sister, Sandra (Godsoe) Poirier
(Aug. 2013).
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) will be on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to
9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Carla’s life will
be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at
1:00 pm with Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception to
follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment will be held at
Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.

Hospital in Carla’s memory would be appreciated by the
