On January 5, 2017, Randall Owen Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 36 years. He is survived by 2 daughters, Alana Cardinal of Saddle Lake & Ava Jones of Victoria, BC; his mother, Sheila Cardinal; father, Randy Moses; foster parents, Agatha & Nick Kumpula; 5 sisters & 3 brothers, Phyllis Favel of Lac La Biche, Lorena Cardinal & Terrence Cardinal both of St. Paul, Shantelle Cardinal (Brad Scannie) of Cold Lake, Justin Moses, Megwin Moses, Nikisha Moses & Charlotte Cardinal all of Saddle Lake; paternal grandmother, Florence Moses; as well as numerous foster brothers & sisters, aunts, uncles & cousins. Randall was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James Henry & Philomene Cardinal; & paternal grandfather, Dolphus Moses. A Wake will be held on Sunday & Monday, January 22 & 23 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens Sunday at 2:00 p.m.). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake, with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
