Brenda Caroline Silverthorn-Gallant, 68, of
Petitcodiac passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Moncton
Hospital.
Born in Gunninginsville to Gertrude (Bannister)
Taylor and the late John Taylor, Brenda was a member of the Women’s
Institute in Elgin and was a Brownie leader for a number of
years.
Brenda is survived by her mother Gertrude of
Niagara Falls, sons; William (Angela) Silverthorn of Elgin, Terry
Silverthorn of Moncton, daughter Robin Crown (Doug) of Niagara Falls,
cherished grandsons; Bruce, Kent, Dakota, Phelan and Lucas; brothers
Robert Taylor (Marian), David Taylor (late Robyn), John Taylor all of
Niagara Falls; niece Amy Taylor and nephews Robert and Brent
Taylor. Brenda was predeceased by her first husband Bruce
Silverthorn; father John Taylor; father in law Wilson Silverthorn; and
mother in law Kathleen Silverthorn.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Rt 106
Salisbury (372-4800), where the family will receive visitors Tuesday
Sept. 19 from 6-8 p.m. and from where the funeral will take place
Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment at Hillside Cemetery.
Memorials to the Hillside Cemetery or Heart and
Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
