JOHNSTON, Robert Borden – Mr. Borden Johnston at Woodland Villa in Long Sault on Monday November 6, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband to Winona Johnston (née Stephenson). Loved father of Brian (Heather), Allan (Martha), and Cory (Melissa). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ian, Lisa, Kristen, Melissa, and Carter. Dear half-brother to William and Tom Wereley. Survived by Aunt Helen. Predeceased by his Grandmother Johnston, Uncle Gilman, as well as his parents Cecil and Alice (née Blackadder) Johnston. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home where visitation will take place Thursday from 2-4PM and 6:30-8:30PM. Funeral to take place in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall on Friday November 10, 2017 at 10AM. Interment to follow at Saint Lawrence Valley Cemetery. If so desired, contributions in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
