Newcombe, Bobby George Sr., 68, Middle Stewiacke, Col. Co.,
passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017. Born in Halifax, he was a son
Mrs. Jean (Sheaves) Newcombe of Sheet Harbour and the late Robert
Newcombe. Bobby worked as a security guard for H & H
Fisheries.
He is survived by his wife Juanita “Willis”;
daughters Janet Newcombe, Amy Newcombe and Trista Hamilton, all of
Brookfield; granddaughter Sarah Lee Newcombe; brothers Vernon of Sheet
Harbour, Aubrey of Halifax; sisters, Charlene Keenen , Bernadette
Newcombe, both of Truro, Kelly Newcombe of Sheet Harbour, Annette Pye
(Scott LeBlanc), Deborah Newcombe, Christine Ferguson (Tommy), Susanne
Pye all of Halifax.
He was predeceased by a daughter Jennifer Lee Newcombe;
sisters Audrey and Marlene.
Arrangements are under the direction the Mattatall~Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, from where visitation
will be Thursday 2-4 pm and where funeral service will take place on
Friday at 11 am. Pastor Sheila Clyke will officiate with burial to
follow in Mount Herman Cemetery, Dartmouth. Donations in memory may be
made to a charity of choice. Private messages of condolence may be
