Bert Dease passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the University of Alberta hospital on Sunday December 3rd, 2017 at the age of 91. Predeceased in 1987 by her beloved husband Lloyd Dease. Left with cherished memories are her daughter Val-Marie, her brother Gunder (Donna) and sister Helen (John), sisters-in-law Skip Dease, Ruby Krause, Lorraine Brooks, Doreen Sanders and brother-in-law Cleo (Leona) Dease and her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Good Samaritan staff who loved and cared for Mom for the past 3 ½ years. Bert was a wonderful, loving person throughout her life, and her family and friends meant the world to her. A graveside ceremony will be held in Kelowna, BC at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 10117 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5J 1W8.
